Meetakriti began in a small corner of a home in 2009 — one woman, one ball of clay, and a dream to revive India’s handmade heritage. What started as a quiet passion has grown into a thriving studio that has taught thousands to create with their own hands.

The seed of Meetakriti was planted with a creative thought, beginning our journey through the first Eco Ganesha initiative.

Hi, I'm Pallavi Murgai, a celebrity hair and makeup artist and founder of the brand AURIQUE. I was introduced to Meetakriti Art Studio in the year 2020. The founder and artist, Meeta Suraiya shared with me the confidence to make my own Ganpati idol with their DIY home Ganesha kit.We have Ganpati Bappa grace our homes every Ganesh Chaturthi for more than 25 years. I am so glad I tried the DIY home Ganesha kit, and now there is no going back. This is my 3rd year making my own eco-friendly Ganesh Moorti.The inner peace that you experience while sculpting out all details is priceless. Even though the DIY kit had all the relevant material and instructions, Meeta still conducted a virtual class and taught us the step-by-step procedure to make the moorti.
